An argument on Sh1,000 during a sleepover has led to a KCPE candidate in Uasin Gishu having a severe physical injuries after he was badly beaten by a boda boda rider. The rider and one of the boy's friends accused him if stealing the money from one of them. Her mother has since reported the case to the police and she hopes that justice will prevail.
According to them, they became suspicious of him since he bought some items, which was not common with the boy. The candidate however tried to explain to them that it's his mother that had given him the money but in vain.
The kid endured wounds after the assault and since then, it has been hard for him to carry out his normal biological functions like going for a short call. The boy's mother has been struggling to help him seek for treatment. She now wants justice for her son.
He described to how a friend living in his neighborhood in Kapkawa zone, Soy Constituency requested that he go for a sleepover in their home, and at about 9pm, the boda boda rider and his friend requested to know where he got the cash he had used to purchase some shorts and potatoes at Soy market prior in the day.
"I'm a KCPE applicant and I have not gone to class since the incident happened. I can't go to class since I can't walk comfortably and I am additionally in serious torment. As of late, I began passing pee with blood," said the crushed candidate.
