Reactions as Willy Mutunga asks Kenyans to contribute to help rebuild Mwangi's destroyed house

Former chief Justice Willy Mutunga has found himself at the centre of criticism after asking Kenyans to help contribute money to rebuild activist Boniface Mwangi's house which allegedly was bombed yesterday night by unknown people. According to Mutunga who is also Mwangi's close friend, Kenyans should rise up and help one of their own in time of need.

I appeal to Kenyans who value humanity to help others to rebuild Boniface Mwangi’s house to shame those who sponsored the inhuman, cruel and satanic act of blowing up his house,” Mutunga tweeted.

This statement has stirred reactions from disgusted Kenyans. These are some of the reactions;

Victor Machuka; We won't help men pay dowry and still build them houses. If its their assets, let them work for them.

@mundeche; you were paid well after 2013 shambolic ruling, youu can rebuild that house 4 him, stop involving Kenyans in your pettiness project.

Akosi Akosi; Boniface Mwangi "bombs" his house at this stage, then we are asked to rebuild a house for him to completion. Nice played!

What are your thoughts?
