The Kenya Meteorologal Department has sent an alert to all Kenyans living in Kiambu, Murang'a, Nyeri, Makueni, Nairobi, Lamu, Kilifi Tana River and Kitui informing them that there will be strong winds.
The strong winds will be expected to start today 7th December 2021 up to 13th December 2021.
Kenya Meteorologal Department has asked Kenyans who live in those mentioned places to take precautions especially those counties that have already received heavy rainfall.
"Occasional isolated storms are likely over some parts of Lamu, Kilifi, Tana River, Kitui, Makueni, Nairobi, Kiambu, Murang’a & Nyeri
Precaution should be taken especially for those counties which have already received/witnessed heavy rainfall/storms." Kenya Meteorologal Department tweeted on their official verified Twitter account.
Kenya Meteorologal Department has also informed Kenyans to be alert always as a number of places will experience very heavy rainfall.
