Mwingi Bus Tragedy: Lady Reveals What Saved Her From Boarding Killer Bus

The pain and memories of the tragic Mwingi Bus accident is still fresh in the minds of the relatives and friends of those who died in River Enziu on Saturday 4th December.

Several people have narrated about their last conversations they shared with the deceased and others revealed how they escaped the tragic incident.

According to Tuko News podcast, Juliet Mutua, the daughter to Mzee David Mbuvi Mutua who was set to renew vows has revealed that going back for a face mask she had forgotten saved her from boarding the ill-fated killer bus, as she watched her relatives die in the river.

The reports stated that Miss Juliet had forgotten her mask in a personal car which could not cross the river. She went to retrieve it but by the moment she was back, the bus had already started crossing with her efforts to stop it and board being futile then the incident occurred.

"I was just hopeless, people were screaming all over. I tried all my best to scream for help, praying by the river, for people to come to assist us but I could not get anybody.

I could see my sisters, my nephews and my nieces some of them being rescued, some of them coming out dead, just being thrown beside the river." A sorrowful Juliet narrated.
