A luxury and popular night club that hosts the high end clientele in Kisumu suffered a tragedy after gun wielding criminals attacked it. The incident which happened late night led to the death of one victim and millions of money including the days sales and patrons loosing their valuables.

According to K24 digital news media platform, the manager of Alva Lounge and Restaurant located in Lela Village identified as John Juma made a robbery with violence report at Kisumu West Police Station. The area police commander said that the thugs took advantage that the club was secretly operating past curfew hours when a gang of over 5 criminals struck.
The victim who was killed during the incident was in charge of security when he severally shot dead. He died from excessive bleeding and was pronounced dead at Russia Referral Hospital where he was rushed for emergency treatment.
