Cases of accidents have increased in the country with reckless driving and disregard to traffic regulations pointed out as the major causes of these bad accidents that have claimed several lives and leaving others nursing serious injuries.
News just in indicate that a very bad accident has occurred in Homabay County in Rodi Kopany after a lorry carrying sugarcane collided with a matatu carrying passengers.
The early morning incident is reported to have left 9 people dead on the spot with others nursing very serious injuries.
Reports from sources indicate that among the nine people dead, 3 of them belongs to the same family.
It is still not yet clear on what might have occurred before the unfortunate incident as we are still following up on the matter to give you more details.
This is very unfortunate and driver's must be very careful on the roads to avoid such unfortunate happenings.
