The Directorate Criminal Investigations has confirmed a successful psychiatric evaluation for Lawrence Warunge who was charged with killing 5 members of his family. Lawrence has been found fit to stand trial following a report presented by DCI to the court.
The Warunge murder case is among most shocking incidents that shocked Kenyans after the 22 year old planned and successful executed his family in cold blood. Lawrence was declared mentally unfit for trial as the court ordered a psychiatric evaluation to be conducted.
Finally justice will take it course after months of waiting. Lawrence is expected to be presented before a judge tomorrow to answer for his crimes at the Kiambu law courts. The university student is said to have confessed to the killings.
Lawrence confessed to murdering his mother, father, his cousin, little brother and their homestead mason. He stated that the killings were inspired by the movie killing eve with the assist of his girlfriend who bought the murder weapon for him.
