Baringo residents are facing acute unemployment crisis and have called on leaders to come to their rescue.
Residents have said the county stopped employment since 2017, hence causing serious backlog of unemployed youth.
The locals said that they have been grappling from the pangs of hunger for days now.
They said the two had crossed over in search of food and water when they starved to death.
Speaking to the press on telephone from Mogotio town, the area chief expressed fears more residents and livestock could starve to death if the situation is not addressed urgently.
He appealed to the Government and NGOs to come to the rescue of residents, saying they were in dire need of food aid.
Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased were transferred to the hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
