According to the sources, George Otieno Odhiambo, 51, resided in a rental home in Kimathi, Nakuru East, with his wife Judy Adhiambo and their four children.
Reportedly, George claimed that he never knew that his wife was planning to go to Saudi Arabia, and when he got home from work, he didn't find her. His wife then called him and told him that she was doing some training in Nairobi.
Three days later, she called to tell him that she had left the country for Saudi Arabia. Judy had flown to a foreign country in search of pastures, where she worked as a housemaid.
Five months later, she informed her husband that her employer was allegedly mistreating her and she wanted to come back home.
She had already booked a flight and made arrangements to come back home.
However, a few days after their last conversation, he found photos of his wife circulating online with information that she had been found dead in her bathroom.
He notified both his and his wife's families and started the process of bringing Judy's body back home.
It took the intervention of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to help the family get the deceased's body back home last week.
The body arrived but was in a bad state and was taken to PNN Funeral Home.
Even though there is a disagreement between the two families regarding where to bury the deceased, funeral arrangements are still being made.
