The declaration was made Wednesday by Mavoko MP Patrick Makau subsequent to going to a burial service readiness meeting.
The groups arranging the burial service, which have been meeting at Mbui Nzau and at Mr. Ndile's other home at Greepark Estate in Machakos County since Monday, chosen the internment date and setting on Wednesday.
"The internment date has been set for June 11. We ought to contribute liberally to give our chief, who was valiant, a befitting entombment," Mr. Makau said.
