Many would concur with the say 'case delayed is justice denied' after what happened to a family in Machakos County.
As per the dispatch , a family in Machakos County finally gave their grandmother a decent burial after being preserved in Machakos County Mortuary for 17 years reportedly due to their case delayed in Court.
According to the spiritual leader who took over the long awaited burial, he reportedly confirmed that the deceased died 17 years ago only for a family issue to flare up.
However, the Court aswell delayed in ruling out the case hence forcing the deceased to spend 17 years in motuary.
This clearly indicates how the Courts in Kenya have lost focus which inturn affects the concerned party.
Nevertheless, she was given her last respect and according to one family member who came forth and talked to the media, he ostensibly revealed how greatfull they were to finally put an end to the issue.
What is your opinion over such situations? Do you think the Government should consider this delayance as they continue with their search for the next Chief Justice?
