Waiyaki Way is almost complete and many Kenyans aren't aware. It's a super highway of some sorts. The new face of Waiyaki Way has mesmerized many Kenyans. One side is concrete and the other is tarmac. President Uhuru Kenyatta doing his thing silently ahead of retirement.
The road connects with the Nairobi Expressway at James Gichuru road. The new expanded road is capable of reducing time spent by road users using the road. The traffic snarl up from the road might soon be a thing of the past.
President Uhuru Kenyatta's government has evidently dedicated much effort on roads in the Country. The New Waiyaki Way is an example. Nairobi metropolitan has been the greatest beneficiary in road infrastructure development.
Several roads within the Nairobi metropolitan have been improved. This has an impact in the future. Though remote areas in the country where agriculture is the backbone have been neglected in road infrastructure development.
As good as the project is some have expressed their opinion and believe it is not a priority to expand Waiyaki Way. The old road built by Italians was still sufficient but had been neglected to justify construction of a new road. What Kenya needs urgently is dual carriageway between Rironi and Nakuru
