One man is dead while nine others have been hospitalized in Nyahururu after taking alcohol suspected to be poisoned. The nine are currently receiving treatment in Nyahururu hospital as the administration Continue to establish the cause of all these.
Those who have been hospitalized are reported to be vomiting profusely at the same time complaining of servire stomach pains. The men are said to have taken the alcohol from a known local bar. The above mentioned are reported to have drunk a beer known as Yokozuna.
The police are investigating over the incidence as some of the alcohol samples have been drawn for testing to establish the problem. This comes as the government continue to warn kenyans over brewing and taking illegal liquor. Nyahururu Sub-County OCS Mary Kiemi has urged those who might have taken alcohol from the same point to visit the hospital for check up.
