"Baba Baba" drama as Ruto motorcade is badly heckled while leaving nyandarua

In Nyandarua, there was an uproar as some enraged youngsters attempted to halt DP Ruto's motorcade.

A clip broadcast by one of the local news channels showed a group of young men singing Baba and Odm slogans as they approached a vehicle believed to belong to a close Ruto associate.

Ruto and his associates paid a visit to Nyandarua county as he continues to promote his well-known bottom-up narrative around the country.

The central Kenyan leaders who accompanied him claimed they were "coerced" into supporting Raila Odinga by the folks in authority.

They asserted, however, that their decision to back the Dp was not coincidental and that they would not be intimidated in any way.

Around three weeks ago, some renegade teenagers stoned Dp Ruto's motorcade in Kondele, severely damaging his official car.

Nonetheless, detectives apprehended a notorious ringleader who also happens to work for the Kisumu County administration in the aftermath of the crime.

Recently, several concerning instances occurred during political rallies, with a number of them resulting in injuries or property destruction.

Kenyans have been asked to exercise humility and abstain from attending someone's rally if they believe they will cause disorder.
