Sleuths in Murang'a county are investigating an incident where a Police Officer was reportedly killed in a hit and run incident.
According to a police report at Makuyu police station, at about 0530hrs along the sagana-kenol highway at Kwa Daudi area.
Unknown motor vehicle and a motorcycle ridden by PC Lazarus Mbithe Mulwa (deceased)aged 48 years and currently serving at Kenya police college kiganjo.
Sources indicate that the rider was heading towards kenol general direction upon reaching the location of the accident he was knocked down by an unknown motor vehicle and died on the spot.
The scene was visited by police officers from the area and necessary police action taken the deceased body was taken to muranga mortuary awaiting autopsy.
Police officers across the internet expressed their deepest condolences to the family and friends of Pc Mbithe Mulwa.
A majority were also in disbelief with a number yet to come into terms with the news of his untimely death.
Some have questioned if the accident was intentional and why his killer fled the scene of the accident.
Of late Kenyans have been waking up to scary scenes and sad news of loved ones having succumbed in some grisly accidents all over the country.
