Incidents of suicide in the country have been on the rise in the recent past leaving the government with much work to do in advising Kenyans to seek other methods of resolving the stress that they might be under.
This is just one of the many cases in the country where parents have harmed their children as well as themselves in shocking scenes.
This morning, according to the available reliable reports that we have received from the Official Social Media Handle of one Ndungu Nyoro, a woman in Nyahururu is said to have left home with her son yesterday and has not been seen since.
The lady, identified as Mercy Wambui Githuku, left home with her son who is a PP2 pupil identified as Gideon Githuku Wambui and the two have not been seen since.
She left behind a suicide note in her home where she alleged the family of never having bothered to even check up on her.
The matter has been reported to the Nyahururu Police Station and efforts to find the lady and her son are underway as per the reports that we have with us.
