Over 300 youths in Lembus ward, Eldama Ravine Sub-County are set to benefit from empowerment program rendered by the area Member of County Assembly (MCA) Hon. Ben Koech in collaboration with the County Government.
According to Hon. Koech popular by his name Igondi, the programme dubbed #JiSkill seeks to empower local drivers between age 21 to 35 years specifically within the county so that they can have extra skills that could help the to be self reliant and competitive.
The driving lessons are set to kick off tomorrow morning from 10am, the venue of the meeting will be the current Seguton Chief grounds. Every youth within the mentioned age bracket has been encouraged to attend the incredible driving lessons with consultations also available for any person who wishes to seek advice on certain issues related to the above project.
The even will be graced by His Excellency Stanley Kiptis, the governor of Baringo County. Kiptis will be available as the chief guest. However, the even is set to be done under strict adherence to the Covid 19 protocols set aside by the government in conjunction with the ministry of health. With the current surge in Coronavirus cases, the attendants are advised to follow the Covid 19 rules and regulations such as social distancing, proper sanitation and proper wearing of masks.
