Ahmed Rashid who has been under fire for the past few weeks is set to undergo murder charges as recommended by the Independent Policing Oversight Authority, IPOA.

Ahmed Rashid is said to have shot dead two teens a few years ago in broad daylight in Eastleigh Estate in Nairobi County an incident which was filmed by a bystander.
Section of Kenyans have been complaining of the prosecution of Ahmed Rashid who operates from Pangani Police Station where he commands an elite team of six officers.
This morning, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us from The High Court, Sergeant Ahmed Rashid has filed a petition to have the charges against him dropped.
Through veteran lawyer Danstan Omari, the petition has been filed a few moments ago at the Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi County as per the reports that we have with us.
The petition was filed as Lawyer Danstan Omari and some members of the business community from Eastleigh came together to help the embattled cop.
