The driver of the lorry is said to have caused the accident by failing to stay in his lane.
At the time of the accident the lorry was heading from Machakos towards Wote while the motorcycle was heading to the opposite direction.
The rider and his pillion passenger died on the spot and their bodies were moved to Makueni referral hospital mortuary for preservation.
The lorry and motorcycle were towed to Makueni police station awaiting inspection.
"Upon reaching at the location of the accident, there was an on coming motor vehicle registration number KCP 994J make mitsubishi lorry which was being driven by one Francis Wambua who failed to keep to his lane and as a result hit the said motor cycle where the rider and his passenger died on the spot," he said.
