One suspect gas today escaped his death after an incident that occured today in Envy opposite Embu police division headquarters where an angry mob ganged up against him for robb allegations.
In a report that was given by the Prime News on their Facebook page,the said man was cought by the Bodaboda operators after being suspected of getting involved in the death of some motorcycle riders some days ago.
The said man was suspected after being found in possession of some items that belonged to one of the motorcycle rider who was found killed and dumbed in a nearby thicket.
It was at this point that the riders got angry and decided to unleash their anger in him with an aim of killing him instantly.
This is after two riders were picked killed and dumbed in the forest consecutively with all their items being stolen with the unknown people.
However,as they were on the process of beating him, the area police came into his rescue before he could breath his last. The police officers were forced to shoot in the air to make the angry mob scatter.
The suspect was rushed to the nearby Embu county hospital as he was seriously injured with serious wounds in his body. Is it good for a suspect to be beaten by the mob?
