According to plans by UDA, the finals of the tournament that began in May was to be conducted today and the winners of the tournament handed a prize worth Ksh 200,000.

Murang'a County Senator Hon Irungu Kang'ata has broken his silence on the move by police to block the finals of the tournament, stating that the venue had been booked and paid for in full in advance.
"Njira ikura igeaga ime kwi na riua.POLICE have blocked UDA sponsored sports finals in Banana Kiambaa constituency which had been booked well in advance," Senator Irungu Kang'ata said.
