A 40-year-old father from Kakamega is on the run after reports that he defiled his sick daughter who was admitted to a hospital in Kakamega.
According to reports from the hospital, a woman who was nursing his child witnessed the matter before raising the alarm to the nurse on duty who reported the case to the hospital administration.
According to reports, the man is said to have separated from his wife and he stays with the daughter. The man was said to have gone home to look for money to bail out the daughter who was recovering from malaria before coming back in the evening and requesting to be allowed to spend the night with the daughter.
Since then, the man is on the run as the hospital has engaged the police in the investigation after confirming that the 10-year-old girl was defiled.
