An accident involving about four vehicles has occurred at Webuye Dina junction. The incident happened on Tuesday evening at the Webuye-Bungoma highway. The accident involved four vehicles; two PSV matatus, a private car and a lory. According Alex Osangir, a resident who is an eye witness ,the Lory was heading towards Webuye from Bungoma. On the other hand the car was at the new round about heading towards Bungoma. One matatu was from Kitale route while the other was waiting for the passengers.
The Lory lost control and rammed over the stationary matatu. As the other Nisan towece tried to evade a head on collusion it hit the car breaking its windows. This injured the car occupants who were rushed to Webuye Level 4 hospital. Fortunately there are no fatalities so far. Those passengers in the two marutus escaped without serious injuries.
