The Deputy President William Samoe Ruto has been thrown into mourning again after the jaws of death swallowed Mama Sisimonda.
The second in command, taking to Twitter hailed her as visionary and God-fearing woman who offered wisdom and guidance to the community.
The woman, whose full name was identified as, Mama Sisimonda Truphena Muthoni Kiringa come from Embu county.
"Our condolences to the family and friends of Mama Sisimonda Truphena Muthoni Kiringa of Embu County. She was a visionary and God-fearing woman, who offered wisdom and guidance to the community."
Ruto quoted a biblical phase to encourage the family and friends at this time of the loss.
"Be encouraged by the word of the Lord in Isaiah 49:13: “For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.” Rest In Peace, Mama Truphena."
