Nation media columnist Gabriel Oguda has reported a story of how motorcycles popularly known as "bodaboda" are stolen from dealers.
The story further narrated how unsuspecting youths are given a sum of fifteen thousands Kenyan shillings to apply for a loan in a bid to purchase the motorcycle.
Without the idea of what is awaiting for them, the victims sign the deal and they are given the motorcycle only for the suspects who gave them the money, comes back to steal the motorcycles, disable trackers and later resale the motorcycles.
In another way one is when one buys a bike and the person does not know how to ride and is asked to hire someone to ride the buyer home.on the way when riding back home and showing the rider directions, they look for a hilly place and engage gear number one then accelerate at once and leave you on the ground.
Members of the public are therefore advised to take caution before they get involved with the said criminals.
