State Witness Protection Act (2006) clearly outlines that each and every individual with precious documents and details about the State should be cushioned from ill motives and security breaches.

They are always prone and vulnerable to attacks, threats and intimidation from greedy citizens with malicious schemes.

Parliamentarians have confirmed that the dormancy of this agency propelled the murder of slain Deputy Director in charge of Communication at the National Land Commission Jennifer Wambua.

She was terminated a few days before the date slated for her gross-examination on matters corruption touching on her department at work.

State witnesses should be protected before the application of legal petitions against highly influential government officials.

They should be highly guarded from the start of the journey to justice, right from the beginning as the Directorate of Criminal Investigation set to unleash the mystery behind suspiscious underground deeds.

The Unit is currently the weakest link in the fight against corruption given that Uhuru's government has never funded the agency.

Key State witnesses have always been murdered in the most outrageous manners and circumstances.
