A few days ago, the famed Gikomba market was up in flames and the fire had to be let to die out as it was uncontrollable.
This morning, Kawangware Estate in Nairobi is also said to be up in flames according to a video obtained by this writer.
Reliable sources indicate that the ongoing fire at Area 56 of the famous Kawangware Estate has claimed the life of one Kenyan.
The source of the fire has not yet been established and residents of the quiet neighborhood are doing their best to put it out.
These are places that are inaccessible as the Nairobi Fire Department cannot get to the interior sections of such estates.
The fire is still razing as can be seen from this video captured by an eye witness from the estate.
We will keep you updated on this story as it develops.
