According to reports this afternoon, detectives have finally managed to recover a gun that was stolen from a senior police officer in Rongo.
According to sources, the officer was attacked by some unknown goons who took off with his pistol.
After a good search and investigations, detectives managed to narrow down on a suspect.
It has emerged that that these rogue thugs attacked the officer with a machete leaving him with some bizarre injuries.
However, a major breakthrough was witnessed today after cops raided his house, during a frantic search they managed to recover the stolen pistol that they suspect has been used in several crimes.
This development comes at the backdrop of increased number criminal activities in the country with questions raised as to what could be happening in the society of late.
Police officers have however been working round the clock to ensure that kenyans get adequate security across the country.
