Kenyans continue to witness tragic road accidents in the country. Many lives are lost in the accidents. This evening, several people are feared dead after a fuel tanker is reported to have bursted into flames.

The sad incident happened at Musembe market along Eldoret-Webuye highway in Lugari sub-county. Locals gathered near the scene to offer some support in putting out the razing fire. The number of fatalities haven't been established yet.

The horrifying evening Eldoret-Webuye incident comes only few hours after a ghastly accident was witnessed at Ndhiwa along Kendubay road in Homabay where a vehicle that was ferrying students and other passengers overturned killing many and leaving others badly injured.

Drivers should obey the traffic rules and regulations. They should practice strict adherence to NTSA rules during this season of reopening schools in the country. Traffic police should also help in enforcing law and order on Kenyan highways.
