Mr. Alex Mugambi, manager of the emergency services for Tharaka Nithi County, confirmed the accident and said the motorcycle was on its way to the town of Chuka. Early this morning, a Boda Boda driver and his passenger were killed in a collision with a Miraa pick-up, and their bodies are currently being held at the mortuary of the Chuka County Referral Hospital, Mr. Mugambi reported.

Rider's name is Muriuki, and he's from a small town not far from Chuka. The Miraa vehicle severely injured him, and he tragically passed away at the scene. Even though doctors at Chuka Referral Hospital did everything they could for the other patient, he ultimately passed away. We pray that their souls find rest in heaven.
Thanks to the photographer, we have a picture of the rider, Muriuki.
The report states that the Miraa driver turned himself into the local police after the incident. In the comments below, let's all say our condolences to their loved ones by typing "rest in peace." Please like, comment, and share this post.
