Five youngmen have been caught today on Friday 2 in the morning trying to look for a way to steal money from the bank in Nairobi. The men by names, Reuben Njuka, Gabriel Mungai, Jesse Muriuki, Charles Mugo and Fredrick Muderwa have been caught drilling the wall of the bank so that they could steal from the bank.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the suspects had rented a room just next to the bank to make it easier for their planned activity.
The men were fully armed with tools and materials for drilling and stealing. With them were fire digging bars, back saws, hand drills, a twisted rope, a metal cutter, a pair of scissors and a suitcase.
The 5 were arrested and paraded at Kamukunji police station in Nairobi before the residents to witness the actions. The police officers have discouraged the residents over such activities. The suspects will be arraigned in court.
