Children are blessing from God, but some choose to be the cause of sleepless nights to their parents.
It is alledged that he threatened to hack his mother Mary Waithera Mwaura with a panga because of sukuma wiki at Kawangware Kabiro area in Dagoretti Sub-County.
It is reported that Mwaura arrived home and started demanding for 10 shillings from his mother in order to buy sukuma wiki. His mother become hesitant and started questioning him that is when he got furious.
He turned violent and started insulted his mother, he grabbing a panga, and started chasing her around the compound threatening to rape and hack his mother to death.
The commotion attracted the attention of curious neighbors who managed to rescue the poor lady.

Waweru who was believe to be under the influence of drugs was later apprehended and taken to the police station, he was wa arraigned court but he declined the charges.
What a shame that children can do this to their own parents instead of providing for them at their old age disturb them. May God have mercy.
