Kenya's capital ranked as the 20th most stressful city in the world

Nairobi, Kenya’s capital has been ranked position 80 out of 100 countries in research that aimed at determining the most and least stressful cities in the world. The study was conducted by Vaay, a German-based survey company.

The survey conducted was based on structural as well as environmental factors that contribute to an individual's overall level of stress overlooking government factors that dictate the inclusions of a city in matters security, equality, or even socio-political stability of its residents.

The report ruled out that Nairobi has a very high population density of about 6,318 persons per square kilometer citing that the city’s traffic congestion gives it a below-average score which sums up to an average of 46.6 points.

Nairobi scored the least of its points in matters unemployment earning 7 points out of a possible 100 points.

Among the cities ranked least stressful are Oslo, Copenhagen, Hannover, Graz, and Innsbruck, Australia while Mumbai India's capital on the other hand ranked as the most stressful with a mere score of one.
