After the murder of Catherine Nyokabi by her lover in Juja, what followed was her send off that was emotional at her home, situated at Thegu in Kieni constituency of Nyeri County. We thought that that was probably the last unfortunate events that we could here of.
Shockingly, a 44 years old man has been arrested in Kihunguro Ruiru in connection with murder of his girlfriend. It is not know the cause of the murder. The neighbours suspected that things were not going on well when they could not trace their friend. This was immediately after the husband left for work in a hurry, locking the door to their house from outside.
On looking through the window of their single room, they found out that the house was disturbed, a thing that made their emotions to run high. They called for help from the police. Sadly, after the door to their house was broken into, they found a lifeless body of their friend.
Franklin Munyau is suspected to have killed his girlfriend, wrapped her body with a polythene bag and hid it inside his rented single room. The neighbours have not yet come into terms with the shocking news.
