In the country, there are several police officers who are honest and kind. Unfortunately, some of them have been accused of stealing money from innocent people. These cases should be condemned, and all police officers should be disciplined and protect the properties of Kenyans.
According to the source, new details have just emerged about the total amount of money one police officer from Bomet County who was manning KCSE exams stole from three invigilators. As per the latest report shared by Citizen, the suspect managed to steal KSH 1,300 in cash. I quote some Statement from the source, one of the victims reported that she lost a hundred shillings, another lost nine hundred shillings, while the other three hundred shillings, which promted to consult with the school administration to review CCTV footage," Mr Mangira revealed.
Further, the victims recorded their statements in the police station. Further, as per the CCTV footage that was recovered in the said school, the said police officer was captured sneaking to the room where the invigilators had kept their belongings before escaping with the money.
This just came in after some cases of police officers being arrested after stealing from innocent people in the country were witnessed. Let us hope that the said police officer will be arrested and jailed to serve as an example to those who are planning to do the same acts.
