In the well lay-down operation, at Thuita village in Komothai location, the security personnel raided the house of a suspected drug peddler, only identified as Rosemary Waithera Ngige, 21-year-old, following a tip off by a concerned member of the public.
The culprit, according to the police reports, was arrested & a haul of about 810 rolls of bhang recovered.
She's since cooling her feets in police custody as she awaits her day in court.
The NPS says it remains committed in its fight against drug & substance abuse.
It further note that indulgence in drugs and narcotics's caused anguish to families as most victims become less productive and dependent for their sustenance.
Long exposure to it can result to health concerns which are related to contracting and the spread of communicable diseases.
The NPS expressed appreciation to members ofcthe public for their constant and continuing partnership in community policing programmes and many other significant exercises h've succeeded.
