According to hazard center UCSB, here is the rainfall forecast updates in the coming week. We expect very little rain across the country. As shown in red colours, most of northern Kenya, north eastern, lower eastern and coastal regions are going to be dry. Please find your region and plan accordingly.
Farmers are advised to use this opportunity to prepare their land as they are waiting for the good time to plant their crops. On the other hand they are being advised to harvest and store rain water for future use.
We are going to experience winds blowing in the day time and at night. This year weather has changed alot compared to last year, most parts of Kenya experienced rainfall throughout the year. Which resulted to floods and landslides which leads to most lives lost. Many people were left homeless, crops carried away and livestock died due to heavy rainfall flooding.
