Homa Bay County police are looking into the death of a 28-year-old woman, whose body was discovered in a pool of blood in her rented house.
According to the police, Mary Kwamboka Ogechi's body was discovered by a friend and neighbor around 11 a.m. on Sunday.
Ms. Ogechi worked at a private health facility in the Homa Bay Town constituency's Rodi Kopany town center.
The neighbor told the cops that she became suspicious after going to see a friend only to find the door locked from the outside.
"When the neighbor peered through the window and saw her friend's lifeless body lying in a pool of blood, she raised the alarm," police said.The body was stabbed to death by his boyfriend using a knife.
