Fredrick Odinga, the Baringo North Sub County Police commander said that the headteacher allegedly had an argument with his wife before the occurrence of the brutal incident.
According to the baby mother the reason as to why he did this is because he believed that the child was born out of the marriage and was not his.
This incident left a number of villagers in Ngaratuko village in disbelief since the child was burnt completely with nothing being left for burial but only remains of ashes.
The villagers and elders of the community are now pushing for police officers to take appropriate action and arrest the headteacher
Couples are advised to settle their differences in a peaceful manner without taking actions that may in turn lead to death, injury and broken families.
