Police in Kasarani have arrested a middle-aged man who is alleged to have killed his 29-year-old wife following a domestic row.
The man is said to have murdered the wife, Florence Kaari for returning home late at night.
According to Ruth Kaimenyi (deceased’s househelp), the drunk man arrived home at around 1 am and kicked her out.

Ruth said that the man asked her where his wife was, and when she told him that she had not yet arrived, he asked her to get out adding that she (deceased) will know that this is his house.
Thirty minutes late, Kaari arrived and found Ruth outside the house. She then knocked on the door and demanded that the husband opens the door.
When he opened the door, the two started fighting before the man picked up a blunt object and hit her on the head.
The househelp raised alarm and with the help of neighbours, Kaari was rushed to hospital where she died while receiving treatment.
According to reports by a local radio station, the man called his Father-in-law on Monday morning and told him that his daughter had died.
