It is a morning of shock in Sotik constituency where the body of a 34 -years-old man was discovered in Kerundut dam. According to the reporter from the Kalenjin radio station, residents who were rushing to their job places in the morning found suspicious clothes near the aforementioned river and they had to call upon police officers who visited the scene on time. They managed to recover the body from the dam and shifted it to Kapkatet hospital.
Residents revealed that the victim is well known as Stanley Mutai and he has been working in one of the quarries near the dam. Witnesses added that he was not in good mood the day before this incident. Unfortunately, he was later discovered dead after drowning in Kerundut, Bomet County.
Furthermore, security personnel revealed that they will investigate the issue that mad the gentleman to claim his life. They suspected that he might have committed suicide due to issues that have been troubling him. They urged people that they should not kill themselves but instead seek consultation from friends and willing neighbors.
