Western And Rift Valley Matatus To Be Kicked Out Of CBD Sakaja Orders

Johnson Sakaja the mayor of Nairobi has recently issued new directives and restrictions for matatu from the Rift valley and western Kenya in an effort to relieve congestion in the city.

Sources claim that beginning on December 1 2022, Matatus Saccos operating the Western Nyanza and Rift Valley routes will pick up and drop off passengers at the Green Park Terminus.

On Friday November 18 2022 at Charter Hall the county government led by governor Johnson Sakaja met with Saccos and other transportation stakeholders and came to a resolution.

The new regulations, which were approved and signed by Jairus Musumba the acting Nairobi county secretary were released by the county government on November 28.

Internet users have expressed a variety of opinions in response to this measure, which has received mixed reviews.

Peter... I want the FORWARD BUSES to be removed from the CBD because they are used to conceal criminals.

Edwin... Sasa si wakisii tutapotea Afya Center, a famous landmark in Nairobi

Lunani... This guy makes thinking seem so challenging.

The majority of traffic isn't caused by those Western and Rift Valley cars and trucks.

Ruth... The Green House, Afya Center, Sisi watu wa rift tunajua... When is Greenpark open for business? Many of us will fall into the hands of rogue robbers.
