Mama Rachel ruto today stood out at state house when she received visitors from the girl guide Society of Kenya which is a girl wing of the Scouts of Kenya. This coming just a few days after landing in the Republic From her tours abroad.
According to an update by the first lady she revealed that team requested her as the first lady of the Republic of Kenya to take up the leadership of the girl guide Society from her predecessor the former first lady mama Margaret kenyatta.
She is now expected to be the new matron of the society which boasts of close to two million girls from different institutions Across The Nation.
This happening as the President William ruto also takes up the leadership of the boys scout of Kenya from his predecessor the former president Uhuru kenyatta.
The first lady has promised to ensure that the girl guide Society of Kenya makes tremendous achievement during her reign.
