This comes after seven people died and two others critically injured along the busy Kisii-Nairobi Highway last evening after the vehicle they were traveling in lost control and rolled several times.
According to reports, the accident which occurred near Fort Tenan involved the popular Mbukinya bus with twenty souls confirmed dead.
With road accidents increasing the Ministry of Transport has been at the forefront to caution road users especially motorists to ensure the safety of human life takes priority and follow traffic rules and guidelines to the latter to ensure lives aren't lost unexpectedly.
More details are still to come as police officers together with well-wishers are carrying out rescue operations with the police urging caution when approaching the accident scene.
