Pauline Joyce Meyer born on June 4, 1943, is an American Charismatic Christian author, speaker and the current president of Joyce Meyer Ministries church that is headquartered near the St. Louis suburb of Fenton, Missouri. She went through a tough life when her father went into the army to fight in world war II soon after she was born. Few years later, her father begun to abuse her upon his return.
Joyce Meyer married her first husband while she used to work as a party time car salesman after graduating from St Louis high school. Her marriage lasted for five years and got divorced because her husband used to cheat on her frequently. Her husband also would persuade her to steal steal payroll checks from her employer and use the to go on a vacation to California and other places.
After her divorce, Meyer frequented local bars before meeting Dave Meyer, an engineering draftsman and got married on January 7, 1967. They are blessed with four grown children, David who is choleric, Laura who is phlegmatic, Sandy who is melancholy, and Daniel who is primarily sanguine and likes to have fun. Both of them live outside St. Louis, Missouri.
