On Saturday last week, the river turned lethal after it claimed the life's of 33 life's and several others injured. The bus wreckage has since then been removed from the water and bodies retrieved.
While the tragedy is still fresh in the minds of many Kenyan's and friends of the deceased have continued sending their condolences to the griefed families as prayer's takes part of everything.
According to the infrastructure Public Secretary Paul Maringa, the government has already set aside Ksh. 30,000 for the construction of the project.
Motorists are again reminded to be careful and take necessary precautions whenever on the road to avoid accidents.
