Don't Forget to Carry Your Umbrella This Month if You Live in The Following Areas

The month of May is here with us and with it comes the end of the "Long Rains" season which began in March. This month marks the end of the rains over most parts of the country except for Western Kenya and along the Coastal region.

The Kenyan Meteorological Department has released the weather outlook for May 2021,with rains expected across the nation. According to the weatherman, several parts of the country will receive near to above average rainfall.

Areas to experience slightly enhanced rainfall over the month of May include the Lake Victoria Basin & Western Kenya region, Central Kenya(including Nairobi),South & Central Rift Valley regions and North Western Kenya. Below average rainfall is likely to be experienced in the Coastal region.
