Nairobi man arrested for almost gouging neighbour's eye in a suspected domestic brawl

Nairobi pastor arrested for almost gouging his neighbour's eye in a suspected domestic brawl in Githurai.

The suspect was arraigned in court but the complainant told Nairobi court that he want to leave the case to give room for pastor to give his grandmother a final send-off.

This came barely two months after thorough reconciliation agreement with the elders from Nairobi’s Shauri Moyo area.

While together with the suspect, Nichodemus Omondi informed Makadara Senior Resident Magistrate M. Mulinge that he has agreed to forgive pastor James Gachiri.

He also told the court that Gachiri’s grandmother lost her life and that he should be present during her final send-off.

During the dismissal of the case, the court heard that Omondi used Ksh6000 to treat him, and never said he would be given back the money.

Gachiri thanked Omondi’s decision and vowed he will not harm anyone.

The latest development comes barely two weeks when three suspected kidnappers were also arrested with stolen children.

The trio were arraigned and charged with child trafficking.
