According to the lady who was living with Catherine at Kasarani Hunters, Catherine left home in a hurry on Monday to go and meet her boyfriend. The same day night, Catherine's body was found besides an abandoned car with those who knew the car questioned about her whereabouts.
Painfully, Catherine father and her friends decided to go to the city mortuary to confirm the body. It became difficult even for them to identify whether it was Catherine's body.
However, detectives from the DCI have arrested a 38 years old man from Githurai Kimbo over Catherine's killing. The man identified as Evans Karani is accused of murdering Catherine on Wednesday in Juja, Kiambu County. The abandoned car has been traced by NTSA to belong to him and it has been arraigned to their offices for further investigations.
