Long gone are the days that you could walk around without having to worry about your safety. This is because most Kenyans have been witnessing an increase in insecurity cases for the past few days.
If you take a look at most social media platforms, you might have seen videos of people being attacked by gang members walking in groups, especially in the coastal areas. Even though law enforcement had done away with the gangs, some of them are now coming up due to the lack of jobs and the rising economy.
A group of five youth belonging to a popular gang in Mombasa are quite unlucky after they were caught by the police. According to a reliable source, the five youth belong to a popular gang known as "Panga boys". The group has been terrorising residents around the Soko Mjinga area.
This news comes a few days after 5 members of a gang were arrested in Mombasa's old town and were arrested by DCI sleuths for harassing Mombasa residents.
